WHAT IT’S REALLY ABOUT
This Isn’t a Success Story. It’s a Measurement Story.
The military rank, degrees, career titles, home, and accomplishments are part of Rick’s story—but they are not the point.
The point is what happens in the seconds between the milestones: the choices, failures, relationships, opportunities, regrets, and ordinary moments that eventually add up to a life.

THE BOOK
Measured in Seconds
Your past may explain where you started, but your choices determine where you go.
Measured in Seconds is Rick Hedrick’s personal story of hardship, failure, military service, marriage, fatherhood, career reinvention, leadership, achievement, and the realization that a meaningful life cannot be measured by accomplishments alone.
This is not a blueprint for becoming Rick Hedrick. It is an invitation to take an honest look at your own life while you still have time to do something with it.
